How does Seven Corners Visitor Health Insurance claims & payment work out?

Q) How is Seven Corners Visitor Health Insurance Claims Processing & Payment? Will I get Paid? Do they actually pay?
A) Everyone who has invited their loved ones to USA or has ever bought Visitor Medical Insurance for them have more or less similar questions and are worried about authenticity of payments & claims processing.
We are brokers for one & only one insurance company - Seven Corners and the reason is that we want to sell something we are familier with and we ourself trust. We do not offer each and every plan from each and every possible Insurance Company as our aim is not to just sell you something.
We have helped many clients with Insurance needs and have seen some of them using it in unforeseen circumstances. You buy these insurance mainly for Accidents & Emergencies. When you need to use it, you go to any Medical Doctor during emergency or talk to Seven Corners at the 800 # in case of NON Emergency to be referred to someone in their network as the benefits are better. Of Course there are many fine prints with respect to pre existing conditions. You can read more details here but they do pay for genuine Emergency and Accidents as per their Schedule of Benefits.
We personally know people who have used this insurance during genuine accident and emergencies and have been reimbursed by Seven Corners or the claims were paid directly to hospital / labs. We have also witnessed unfortunate events where the insured has passed away while here in US and Seven Corners was there to help. Unfortunately no Broker can share details of their clients personal cases so we will share our own experience details.

We use this insurance for ourself as well. Recently when we were in USA we bought Inbound USA policy from http://www.nrilic.com/ and were able to see a close by neighborhood doctor during a minor emergency. The doctor did not accept the Insurance at first but agreed to bill Seven Corners directly if we Pre Pay for the first visit. We prepaid and got reimbursed smoothly without hassle in 2 months. The labs / X-rays / Diagnostics was billed directly to insurance and paid directly in full.
In case you want to verify the Statements of Benefits the same can be found here. This will also work as a sample for those who are curious.
Bottomline - Remember this insurance is a very small investment for your the bigger peace of your mind but you cannot compare this with something like United Health Care plans that is paid by your employer and is lot more costly. If you have an option to buy that then we will anyday recommend that to you instead of buying a policy from us.
